DSJ Solutions is led by principal, Delphine. St. Jacques. A member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, and the Paralegal Association of Ontario, and accredited in alternative dispute resolution, Ms. St. Jacques has built a name for herself operating as sole proprietor under several different banners. She boasts over twenty-five years’ experience providing support and technical expertise to individuals, small business and public and private sector proponents in project and contract management, organizational, operations, and human resources management. Ms. St. Jacques has made numerous representations and has acted as agent, before municipal councils and committees throughout Northeastern and Central Ontario, in rezoning, variance and consent applications, and official plan amendments. She has made appearances before the Ontario Labour Board, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and Small Claims Court. Additionally, she has represented individuals where there have been alleged violations by an institution’s enabling or other statutes, such as the Credit Unions & Caisses Populaires Act, the Education Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. Ms. St. Jacques also assisted self-represented with various applications and/or complaints with the landlord/tenant board, Small Claims Court.
Her strong background and working knowledge of statutory and regulatory law that governs the Ontario workplace, also provides her with the skills to guide and assist small and medium size business with related policy development, compliance and risk mitigation issues.
